Kim Kardashian surprised fans Tuesday by unveiling her Halloween costume early, appearing nearly unrecognizable in a detailed transformation into her 13-year-old daughter, North West.
The SKIMS founder shared a series of photos on Instagram showcasing the “mini-me” makeover, which faithfully recreated North’s distinct gothic aesthetic. Kardashian donned a waist-length turquoise wig, spiky prosthetic eyelashes and a series of faux facial piercings that have become a trademark of the teenager’s evolving style.

To complete the look, Kardashian wore a set of black grills and long, pointed stiletto nails featuring intricate black-and-silver gothic designs. Her wardrobe for the shoot consisted of an oversized black graphic T-shirt layered over black-and-white striped sleeves, accessorized with a heavy silver chain and a skull-and-crossbones pendant. “Halloween 2026!”

Kardashian wrote in the caption of the post, which quickly drew attention from her family and millions of followers. The resemblance between the mother and daughter was striking enough to confuse many fans at first glance. Kourtney Kardashian Barker commented “Twins!!!!!!” on the post, while family matriarch Kris Jenner added that the costume was “so fun.”

In the photos, Kardashian mimicked her daughter’s signature poses, including covering part of her face with her hands to highlight the elaborate manicure and jewelry.

The transformation is the first of what is expected to be several high-production costumes from the Kardashian-Jenner family, who are known for their elaborate annual Halloween displays. North West, the eldest child of Kardashian and rapper Kanye West, has recently leaned into a zombie-inspired and alternative aesthetic, often featuring blue lips, dark makeup and spiked accessories.
