Jamie Foxx and his girlfriend, fitness instructor Alyce Huckstepp, have welcomed their first child together, marking a new chapter for the actor following a public health battle.
The couple, who have maintained a relatively private relationship over the last four years, first sparked pregnancy rumors in May when reports surfaced that Huckstepp was several months along.
Shortly after the news broke, the 31-year-old fitness instructor was photographed in Los Angeles debuting her baby bump. Foxx is already a father to two daughters from previous relationships. He shares his eldest daughter, 32-year-old Corinne, with Connie Kline, and his 17-year-old daughter, Anelise, with Kristin Grannis.
The “Ray” star has frequently praised his daughters in the past, often appearing alongside Corinne for their hosting duties on the musical game show “Beat Shazam.” The relationship between Foxx and Huckstepp dates back to May 2022, when they were first seen together in Cannes. While the pair briefly fueled breakup rumors early last year, they appeared to reconcile quickly and have remained close throughout Foxx’s recovery from a significant medical emergency.
Huckstepp was reportedly a constant presence by the actor’s side after he suffered a stroke in 2023. Sources close to the family said the fitness instructor remained “loyal” and supportive while the comedian navigated his lengthy hospitalization and subsequent rehabilitation. One source described Huckstepp as a “sweetie” and a stabilizing force in the actor’s life during his recovery period.
Foxx recently returned to the spotlight with a Netflix special where he tearfully detailed the events leading up to his health scare. Despite the personal hurdles, the actor has remained active in the industry and was recently seen attending major sporting events, including a FIFA World Cup celebration in June.
The birth comes after a period of professional resurgence for Foxx, who has balanced his recovery with a return to both the screen and the stage. The couple has not yet released the name or gender of the baby.
