Two Important Love Connections That Stem From Zoë Kravitz's 'Blink Twice'

The film has yet to release, but Zoë Kravitz's directorial debut Blink Twice, has made a couple of pretty serious love connections, beginning with Zoë, herself. She first starting writing the script in 2017 under a different name, Pussy Island. It wasn't until the summer of 2021, in June, that she revealed her directorial debut, utilizing the script that she co-wrote with E.T. Feigenbaum. Channing Tatum signed on as the film's first star, and that's where their courtship started to bud.

In June 2021, Karvitz told Deadline that Tatum actually inspired his character in the project, and on August 18, 2021, they made their first appearance as a couple in New York. On October 30, 2023, Zoë and Channing revealed their engagement, when she sported her engagement ring while out celebrating Halloween together. This is love connection number one.

Back in 2022, when the film was presented at the Cannes Film Market, MGM competed for and won the film's distribution rights. Naomi Ackie was attached to the project as the film's lead role, and starting in May 2022, additional cast members signed on to the project. The cast included Simon Rex, Christian Slater, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Adria Arjona (pictured in the Loewe Instagram campaign post below), Haley Joel Osment, and Kyle MacLachlan. The project began filming June 2022 in Mexico.

With the film set to release this summer, on August 23, 2024 via Amazon MGM Studios in the U.S., and on August 21, 2024 internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures, a new connection has been identified. This is love connection number two. The release is now just over three months away, and today, it has been revealed that Jason Momoa, Zoë Kravitz's mom's ex-husband, and father to her half-brother and half-sister (stay with us), and Adria Arjona (who would be recognized from the Blink Twice cast list above) have made their relationship Instagram official.

Adria Arjona can be seen in Jason Momoa's Instagram post below. In fact, in the caption, he calls her "mi amor," and tags her Instagram account, @adriaarjona , as well.

The film has not been cited as their official connection point, but it would not be far-fetched to suggest that perhaps Momoa and Arjona may have become acquainted through this film production. Jason Momoa and Channing Tatum have been pictured together on Instagram, suggesting that they are friends and are acquainted. The two supported Kravitz at her The Batman premiere. Only time will tell how the two actually became connected, but however it comes out, there is a distinct link through the film.
