T-Pain’s unreleased track, “Club Husband,” has gained a life of its own on social media, with fans clamoring for an official release.

On October 7, the award-winning recording artist took to Instagram to announce that the song behind the viral trend will be released on October 17. “Clearly you need a Club Husband [ring emoji] 10/17,” T-Pain captioned the post.

T-Pain would share a self-made Nappy Boy News newspaper to promote the upcoming song on social media. Promoting the presave option, the paper’s headline addressed the song’s fanfare. It reads, “T-Pain’s ‘Club Husband’ Snippet Sparks Frenzy — Will Full Version Drop?”

“Club Husband” was originally previewed several years ago to fans’ scrutiny. Today, fans enjoy the snippet’s nostalgic vibe and catchy lyrics. “Tonight we gon get lit,” begins Pain’s snippet. “Me and you going in / So tell that piece of shit of an excuse you call a boyfriend / That he ain’t gotta worry about you coming back home / ‘Cause you done found what you been looking for along…”

The paper would report on Pain’s legendary “Big Ass Chain” pendant. Pain bought the piece of jewelry years ago after a fan dared him to do it..

Fans have been sharing clips of Teddy P performing the song on stage over the weekend. Alongside revealing the new song, Pizzle has introduced a one-of-a-kind championship belt, available for purchase at the merch table at every tour date for the remainder of the tour.

In a video post featuring WWE superstar Xavier Woods with the belt, Pain’s caption reads:

“Take it from somebody who’s actually won a bunch of these! The TP20 Championship is the ultimate and most exclusive way to commemorate your experience [fire emoji]. We’re literally only selling one title per show! So if you want one, head to the merch booth when doors open and get your hands on the gold.”

Fans have expressed overwhelming excitement for the song’s release across social media. Many acknowledged Pain’s decision to release the song in response to fans’ requests. “WE WON!” a fan comments early in the post.

“Now we on Florida Time!!,” comments one fan, while another follows with, “Shoutout to Tallahassee.”

Others’ comments would be their favorite parts of the unreleased song. “TONIGHT WE GON LIT!!!” recites an overjoyed fan in the comments.
