Kevin Hart’s Legal Drama Could Bring Sex Tape Partner Montia Sabbag To Testify

Comedic actor Kevin Hart’s former assistant is seeking testimony from Montia Sabbag, the woman involved in Hart’s 2017 sex tape scandal, as part of her ongoing legal dispute with the entertainer.

Miesha Shakes identified Sabbag as a potential witness and wants to question her about the recording and the investigation that followed, according to court documents cited by TMZ.

Sabbag became involved in a legal dispute with Hart after the pair were recorded having sex at a Las Vegas hotel in 2017.

In 2019, Sabbag sued Hart for $60 million, alleging that he recorded their sexual encounter without her consent. Hart denied wrongdoing, and the lawsuit was eventually dismissed.

Shakes now contends Sabbag’s knowledge of the incident could be relevant to her dispute with Hart.

Hart sued Shakes over allegations that she violated a nondisclosure agreement by discussing his personal life during an interview with a blogger. Hart claims Shakes damaged his reputation by disclosing private information.

Shakes disputes those allegations and argues that the agreement is unenforceable because Hart allegedly failed to satisfy obligations under the contract.

Shakes has also argued that Hart damaged his own reputation through conduct over the years. She points to the 2017 sex tape controversy as an example.

The potential testimony could place details surrounding the scandal back before the court if Shakes is permitted to question Sabbag.

Shakes also expects to testify in the dispute. She has indicated that Hart may be called as a witness.

The competing claims center on whether Shakes violated the nondisclosure agreement and whether Hart failed to meet obligations that could affect the agreement’s validity.

The dispute remains pending. The court has not determined whether Sabbag will testify or what testimony she may provide.

Hart has maintained his denial of wrongdoing concerning the allegations raised by Sabbag. Shakes continues to challenge Hart’s claims against her.

If permitted, Sabbag’s testimony could provide Shakes with evidence concerning the circumstances surrounding the 2017 incident. The investigation that followed.

The case represents another legal dispute involving Hart and a former associate. It also revives allegations tied to one of the comedian’s most publicized controversies.
