A home, or mansion, rather, in the neighborhood of Brentwood, in Southern California, has caught the eye of Rapper Kendrick Lamar. This area is extremely expensive and many celebrities call the upper echelon section of Los Angeles home. If and when the deal goes through, he, reportedly, has signed the paperwork already, the Rapper will pay $40 million for the property.

Fresh off his rap beef with Drake, Kendrick garnered a lot of new press, creating momentum around his celebrity. During this frenzy, outlets have discovered his aim to purchase the home. When the sale goes through, this would make the home one of the most expensive properties to be sold in 2024, so far, this year. The home is owned by former Fox Corp. Chief Legal and Policy Officer Viet Dinh, and his wife, who purchased the home for $19.5 million in 2019. The home was not on the market at the time of the sale, which have led to reports that the home will be acquired through a private deal.

The Brentwood home's information was pulled from the original listing in 2019, when Dinh bought the home. It abode was described as being roughly 16,000 square feet with eight bedrooms in the main house on a lot that is just under one acre. It also includes a gym, a guesthouse and a pool. See the photos of the now $40 million property in the Instagram post below.

The comments on about the purchase have been mixed. Here are some of the comments gathered from the post above.

"They not like us. He's moving in a multimillion mansion with his biracial kidd but will say they not like us. Is this the culture he came from? Bunch of hypocrites. Only hate on others becuz they don't find themselves in the position and once they do, they are far worse than the people they [criticized]. There's a reason he hides his life [from] the media and has that crisis management team. For someone who's speaks of [the] culture, he could have used that money to build estate for his people."
