Kai Cenat officially announced his return to the digital stage this week after a months-long hiatus that left the streaming community wondering if the star would ever go live again.

Cenat broke his silence by revealing the upcoming launch of “Streamer University 2,” a direct sequel to one of his most popular and high-rated content series.

The announcement arrived via a high-production, Harry Potter-inspired promotional trailer that signaled the end of Cenat’s inactivity in 2026. Prior to this revelation, the 24-year-old creator had not hosted a single stream this year, opting instead to focus on personal development and his burgeoning fashion brand, Vivet. The first iteration of Streamer University was a viral success, featuring prominent influencers who acted as “professors” to mentor aspiring streamers.

The educational-themed broadcasts were known for their chaotic energy and celebrity guest appearances, helping cement Cenat’s status as the most-watched creator on the Twitch platform last year. Industry analysts suggest the break was necessary for Cenat, who faced several personal and professional hurdles toward the end of 2025.

Following an emotional public breakup and the physical exhaustion resulting from multiple record-breaking “subathons,” the creator reportedly needed time to recover. During his time away, Cenat frequently updated fans on social media about his new interest in literature and his efforts to expand his clothing line.

While Cenat has not yet confirmed an official start date for the new semester of content, he is currently encouraging prospective streamers to apply for enrollment in the project.
