Golden Globes: The 2025 Nominations

The Golden Globes 2025 nominations list is finally ready to be announced! Following this year’s ceremony, the 2025 Golden Globes will have an expanded number of nominees in all 27 categories from five to six — allowing more room for deserving talent in film and television to get the spotlight they deserve.

Additionally, two completely new categories were previously introduced: best stand-up comedian on television and cinematic and box office achievement. The latter category can be seen as the “best blockbuster” award and was won by Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” at this year’s show.

The 82nd annual Golden Globes ceremony, hosted by reality TV star and comedian Nikki Glaser, will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
