The anticipation for the start of the college football season building.
ESPN added to that buildup on Friday with the release of its newest college football anthem, which will air across its networks, including ESPN, ABC and the SEC Network.
The anthem features Shaboozey's new song, "High Noon," which features rapper Gunna. The track was released Friday as part of Shaboozey's latest album, "The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales."

The anthem includes a series of highlights, crowd shots and broadcast clippings from last season as part of a hype video, as well as voice-overs from ESPN's college football personalities that include Chris Fowler, Rece Davis, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit.
"It’s so exciting to have 'High Noon' as the anthem for this upcoming college football season on ESPN," Shaboozey said in a statement. "I’m excited for the song to be part of the energy, tradition, and memories of game day."
Added ESPN director of marketing Maggie Lewin in a statement: "ESPN is the home of college football, and our annual music anthem has become a signature part of how fans welcome the season. It has grown into a tradition of its own, a signal college football is back and it sets the tone for everything fans love about the sport. We are extremely excited to collab with both Shaboozey and Gunna and welcome them into this seasonal tradition."
The first chance college football fans will get to watch the anthem live will be on Saturday, Aug. 29 at noon ET when North Carolina takes on TCU in Dublin as part of the Week 0 slate.
