Druski is stepping into his biggest role yet as the newly announced host of the 2026 BET Awards. The comedian and digital creator will front “culture’s biggest night” live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, bringing his skit‑ready chaos to a stage that’s usually reserved for music giants and veteran comics.

BET confirmed the news with a promo clip introducing him as the show’s youngest‑ever host, highlighting how his Instagram sketches, Coulda Been Records spoof label and viral characters have turned him into a fixture across Black Twitter and hip hop timelines. In his statement, Druski said he grew up watching the BET Awards and feels honoured to follow in the footsteps of the comedic legends who set the bar before him, while promising to bring his own brand of humour to the show. Ahead of the show, he’s already started setting “ground rules” in a teaser where he jokes about checking outfits, limiting entourages and keeping speeches tight, taking playful shots at names like Jamie Foxx and Sexyy Red to signal the night won’t be too precious. The running gag is that it’s “Druski’s show first, awards second,” which lines up with how people already treat his live appearances as events on their own.
