Bad Bunny is scheduled to headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.

He was officially announced as the headliner on September 28, 2025, during the halftime of an NBC Sunday Night Football broadcast, in partnership with the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation.

In a brief statement released with the announcement, he described the opportunity as being “for my people, my culture, and our history,” referring to his Puerto Rican and broader Latin identity.

Public reaction has included both support and criticism, with some praising the visibility for Latin music on a major U.S. stage and others questioning the choice, but the performance remains confirmed as part of Super Bowl LX.

Another 2026 tentpole. A news piece from CNN, Bad Bunny to headline Super Bowl LX halftime show, lays out the announcement and the league’s framing of the performance as one of next year’s marquee television events.
